NEWS:
I think the book has about 3-4 more strips, then I will compile them together and put the final touches on the art work and we should be good to go as far as sending the printers the book. I was talking with my friend Joel the other night and he informed me that I need to also make sure that the entire book has been converted to CMYK before I send them the book. Which I’ll glad you pointed that out to me. All previous print jobs I’ve done before were all done on RPG printers. The company I’m using has really nice four color process printers which surprisingly does a better job than if you were to use regular ink jet printers that just do color blending, I guess. Because of this once the book is finalized here in a few days, as far as strips go, I’m gonna take a week off from the main comic again and resume some ALT Universe strips for you guys… all the same, I plan to try my best to get the comic back to a MWF schedule for you guys. I don’t know about you all but doing this comic just twice a week wasn’t doing it for me! Anyway… That’s about two weeks down the line, so I’ll keep you posted. LAWLS will be posted Monday, Wednesday and Friday again this week!

In FInal Fantasy 7, when a character has taken enough damage, his regular attack is replaced with a super ability he can use once. That is a limit break.
Yeah, that’s the best way to put it. I was hoping the simple fact that watching her get slapped put him over his “limit” would be enough to make it understandable with out the game reference. It’s sorta of an extra joke for the people who’ve played the game.
Limit breaks will occasionally also end in traffic tickets.

I guess I didn’t quite take it that way at first, since I figured it was a reference to something I didn’t know. Sometimes my brain is very one-track. But yeah, having that push him over his limit I get now, as it would for me as well.
You’d think seeing Cadence get hit would have been what pushed him… but I figured it would take time for his limit bar to fill. It just so happened to be Autumn getting slapped that put him right over the top. heh
Cadence probably got him really close, but it took Autumn to finish him off. Now for the explosive finale with Pop Villain. ^.^

Yeah, they have some of the older Final Fantasies on PSN if you have a Playstation 3. I’ve been playing FF7 here lately and it’s long, but fun.
How much did you have to pay for it?
It wasn’t too much. Seems like I only paid somewhere between $7-10 for it. Which really isn’t that bad when that one goes on eBay for god awful amounts (at least the English version).

lol Cool. And since the fastest speedrun I’ve seen is over 7 hours, you get quite a bit of game for your buck. The graphics definitely aren’t great for today, but back in the day, they were amazing.

Damned brats need to stop making me feel so old as well. This must be how my dad felt when I asked him why was Peter Gabriel singing instead of Phil Collins in Genesis, was it a guest spot? I swear, his eyes drooped for a second or two before he explained to me about the history of Genesis. I won’t repeat the tirade he went into, but let’s just say he really, really wasn’t a big fan of Phil, and he didn’t like how he turned Genesis into his backing band during the late 70Ss and 80s.

FTW! That’s exactly when I stopped playing them as well.. 10 Killed the whole series for me. I gave 13 a shot, but quite after fighting the first summon character… it just wasn’t the same.
Chrono Trigger is one of my all time favorite games. <3
