It’s very easy to become delusional as to what is going on, especially when you like some one a lot.
Notes: I’m thinking of putting together a Desktop Wallpaper for Halloween that consists of either all the characters in one or a variety of wallpapers with the characters individual, in costume. Do you guys have any recommendations as to what their costumes could be? Let me know your thoughts.

Well, Joseph should be a dinosaur in a trench-coat (creepasaurus), Rudy could have a sink as a hat with a pipe leading to his mouth (garbage disposal), Cadence could be Ironman (she does have a laser), Corbin could be Einstein (in honor of him being a professor), and poor forgotten Hammer can be a bottle of pepto (he does have excellent control of his bowels). An alternative for Rudy is King Henry III another big eater.
OOhhh nice, I dig the King Henry the Third idea! lol I’m starting to get so many cool ideas I feel like (if i have time) I’m gonna have to do two wall papers!
It is hard for me to make a good suggestion for Cadence’s costume since every thing that comes to mind sounds like I am trying to get you to fulfill some kind of personal fetish of mine.
Nah, don’t sweat it sir. Pretty much all the ideas I’ve come up with so far follow that same line of reasoning. For example: Faye Valentine from Cowboy Bebop. :3
I blame the entire costume industry. Think about it, when was the last time you saw a costume that is mass produced for a female that is past puberty or per-geriatric that doesn’t have some sort of sexual innuendo involved. And with the moral ranting over, is there any chance for a nurse outfit? :3

Trust me.. it hurt my head to draw. I had to research chibi art for a while before I started it.. and by the time i was done, my eyes were bleeding and i was ready to stab them with my pen.
Well, I am still new fan of your artwork, and I’ve never followed ‘all’ of your stuff entirely :/. I found out about L.a.w.l.s through Google :S. It was entire luck, I think it was a back-link ad or something. So excuse me if I’m not familiar with all of your drawing styles yet XD! Aw, thanks! I’ve never really drawn chibi art before. Maybe one or two times.. but nothing serious, so this was actually really challenging for me to accomplish. I’m happy with it though, especially Cadence. She looks awesome.
If I make it to Wednesday (w/ no aneurysms) then I think it should be a pretty decent strip… i just retyped the next part to this sentence like 4 times… i can’t say anything else with out potentially giving away the strip! lol SO, I’m just gonna cross my fingers!
For some bizarre reason this reminds me of the “Korean Animator’s Ending” to that one episode of the ‘Clerks’ animated series.

LMAO! You know, I’ve actually wondered that myself. I’ve never fully understood chibi characters, it’s hard to make out what is going on with them sometimes. I actually had no clue how to really draw chibi characters so i googled thosands of them, and i very nearly ripped my eyes out trying to figure out the appeal of them! Why do so many animes/manga’s have chibi artwork? WHY DO THEY EXIST!?! WHHHHYYYY!?!?!?!

I don’t do as good with “how to tutorials,” as I should. I end up getting bored and fast forward… then i miss stuff, then i get annoyed. I just stick to analyzing the way i THINK other people do it… then just give it a try. Cos then the art maintains my own personality…where as if I followed a how to exactly, it would look too much like “it should.” If that makes sense.

i just think if you would have done it like the “how to” wouldnt have had very much creativity, then it might have looked like some re-packaged “crap”
which your comic is not in anyway like that, you actually have alot of originality and your personality does show through your characters a little bit
long statement short all is as “it should” be, you give your own spin on everything
oh and the chibi kissing, well in the genre, its more or less targeted at a younger audience, and the closest the will get to a kiss is an eskimo kiss (with noses touching) kind of how it was for tv in the 50′s-60′s, that its considered taboo for an actual kiss to be shown, like seperate beds for married couples, its bad to insinuate that the characters might actually have physical intimacy of any kind

When i first started, I did how ever reader over some tutorials on how to effectively use photoshop for comics; Like Jeph Jacques of Questionable Content and Jenny Romanchuk of The Zombie Hunters both have great ones somewhere on the internets. I was shaking on layer usage and shading/coloring techniques. But now I have many friends in the industry, like Scott of Nerf This, for example who I talk shop with at great extent, so as we both learn new tricks we share them with one another. Being and artist is all about growth, networking, and individuality. The best way to do that is to use multiple resources and just incorporate everything you like (personally) into one project, your own unique contribution to the art world. :] I always hope that I’m successfully doing so as I grow in my work.
Your point on the chibi thing makes sense. Besides, there are other, more deviously ambiguous ways to insinuate sex through art. MWHAHAHA :3

Rudy as the Energizer Bunny/Reeder, Joseph as Scout Crossing? haha, Cadence as Gadget haha I dunno, maybe the fish as the Dr. Seuss fish or the fish from American Dad, and maybe Corbin assss the Nevermore crow. haha I dunno just first ideas that came to mind

Lol, Well I actually love animes/mangas so there will always be an underlying influence, I just don’t want to completely mimic the artwork and “loose myself” in someone else’s style. If that makes sense? THOUGH, i do agree with you, I’ve gotten a very very good reaction out of the last two strips.. So I will keep that in mind as I draw future strips. :] Thank you for your input though, it’s appreciated. :]
Sorry if I sounded all serious…. I prefer your personal style actually. Just pointing out jokingly that ‘chibi’ and ‘animu’ are so recognizable you’d be pandering to the lowest common denominator (hence larger fanbase) but the more serious fans might get all frowny lol. :/

Yay! Glad someone commented on the “logo” shirt! I try to hide things in L.A.W.L.S. all the time, so it excites me when a reader actually points them out. A few things have actually slipped by with out mention, I’m curious if future readers (as the comic becomes more popular) will notice them or not. After you saying “Insert Joke Here” i almost wish i wrote “Logo Here” or even better “Advertise Here” lol

To Swoon, is to be overwhelmed by ecstatic joy. Personally i think of it as, swooning for a girl or boy, like being around them makes you SUPER HAPPY!
